“I have been going to Ashland Cafe since 1997. The food is always amazing, service is very quick, and always attentive staff. My favorite "go-to" dish is the creamed chipped beef. It is the best around. If you stop in, congratulate MOISES. He has been a staple at Ashland for 20 years!!! Amazing person! While the cafe does serve lunch and dinner, my favorite is breakfast! Enjoy!!”

“Down town Silver Spring is a cool area with many different restaurants… I recommend trying one of those other options. I have been to the restaurant 2 times and both time the food was decent. I tried the fried option and the broiled option. The broiled option is better than the fried but both were nothing I recommend. Service is not the best, our server was not friendly and did not check in often although the restaurant was practically empty. The server had to be reminded of things we ordered and reached over our meal multiple times. We visited on a weekend for lunch and the spot was not busy at all. Food lacks seasonings/spice/flavor. Food looks better than it taste. Tomatoes were the best part of my meal. Crab cake is decent.”

“This has got to be one of the best cheesesteaks around. Period. The meat is so moist. They say they marinate it for 72 hours. And if that's true, you can definitely tell. Delicious. And not your usual steak-um type meat. So good! Will definitely return, and everyone should check this place out. The whole menu looks amazing!”
