Izumi

4.5
( 10 reviews ) $$$

12539 116th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034, United States

“There are many sushi places and there are many Japanese restaurants, but few are outstanding. Izumi is an outstanding Japanese sushi restaurant. Sushi is very fresh. Japanese dishes are execellent. This is one of the best in the whole Seattle region.”

Chelan Cafe
4.4
( 10 reviews ) $$

3527 Chelan Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98106, United States

“First time here, though we've driven by dozens (hundreds?) of times. Busy at 9am on a Saturday, as you'd expect, but not crazy busy. We were seated quickly, had coffee before even sitting down. Order was taken a few minutes later, food arrived in 10-15 minutes. Irish omelet was delicious! Friendly staff, no complaints.”

Tengu Sushi Japanese Restaurant
4
( 10 reviews ) $$

311 NE Thornton Pl, Seattle, WA 98125, United States

“Last time I was here was 3 years ago! Google let us know it would be a 30min late, so it was not surprising when that was true. We had a pleasure of looking at the menu as we waited and we ordered everything we wanted. Great prices, the $15 rolls section is to DIE for! The sushi tower was flipping incredible, beautifully designed. It was worth it. Never had I drunk the beer before but it did the trick! Treat ourselves!!!”

Freighthouse Square
4.2
( 10 reviews )

2501 E D St, Tacoma, WA 98421, United States

“Ol' Freighthouse Square. Situated just between the Link and the Sounder station, it's a decent place to sit and have a bite while waiting for the next train to come by. There are two parts to the square, a food court with an incredibly varied selection of foods, from curry to burgers to pho and more. The other (much larger) side hosts several dozen artisan shops, a lot of jewelry shops, handicraft vendors, stuff like that. There's also a store downstairs that sells cards, action figures and other nerdy stuff. It might look a little dilapidated on the outside (and maybe a little on the inside too) but it only serves to contribute to its incredibly rustic atmosphere.”
