“Can’t say enough about this charming old school Italian bistro perfect for family dining. I picked this place because the review I read said “it’s more like a neighborhood food hall. Long tables & the waiters verbally provide the menu.” This is my style. I wasn’t disappointed. Easy to get a table for one and I was pampered and showered with love & attention from the busboy, waiter, bartender and owner. The food was quick and AMAZING! Authentic and fresh. The bread was delicious and with the evoo , chef’s kisses. House wine was great & I got out of there for a mere $45. Cash only.”

“Where can I start. Shorty and I got a nearby spot, was scoping around for places to eat and rolled up on here. Looked promising. Came back for dinner. We were seated right away. Place was packed but tables spread apart comfortably to make it easier to get around. Place is very clean to consider the size and the activity. ....................wait ..just got the check without asking .... I was taking a break to write the review . Ok.. now I'm gonna tell you what's really up with service. They kinda loud.. waking around... yelling to rachithet over your head. Any way. Food really good. I'm gonna finish now Final statement Could be worse Update.. came back to lower a star. The bathroom is dirty. And..they keep on yelling...and... I have to stare at the check on my table I didn't ask for.”

“As you come up to a strip mall your not expecting much BUT it will be worth it! My food here was excellent and authentic ( I grew up with an Italian mom! I know what I’m talking about 😎) The starter bread were baked in house and awesome. The caprice salad was solid ( Motz was good and dressing but tomatoes could have been riper) My chicken riggies were great! Some of the best I’ve had!! The pizza was excellent and the veal was very good. Service was warm. Portions were large and prices were very good. This place is worth the drive!”

“This was definitely a unique dining experience and in its own way it was memorable. I have never been in such a tiny restaurant with so little space to maneuver. The wait staff literally pulls tables away from the wall for you to slide onto the wall side bench and then pushes it back towards you - every inch matters here. This restaurant is a bit of a machine - the waitstaff is very present and urging you onwards through your meal, they turn over tables quickly. I can see why the place was humming - people come because it's the most affordable Indian food around. But the food itself is not memorable at all. The decor is one of a kind but all I could think of was how difficult it must be to properly clean all those strings of lights (to the point where I highly doubt they do get cleaned). If you want affordable Indian food in a restaurant setting in lower Manhattan this fits that bill. Would not recommend if you are a person of size (either height or width really) nor a wheel chair user nor if you have significant mobility issues.”

“Awesome, small homie diner. Phenomenal breakfast and like everybody states exactly what a diner should taste like. It does have indoor and outdoor seating! Definitely worth the time if you’re looking for great diner food !”

“Overall a solid experience at the bay diner ! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu which was massive and quite encompassing. We came in for burgers and shakes! We had a great time and a nice comfy booth. Would defintely stop by again and would also recommend :) My only feedback is maybe the portions could be bigger sizes and in alot of old diners they bring you the extra milk shake in another glass which they didn't do. Otherwise nice time!”

“HUGE menu!!! Must try if you’ve never been. Gets very busy but they move quickly so wait time for table is worth it and the food comes out fast too! Neat place but no AC. Super big menu definitely recommend for so many awesome breakfast options like cinnamon bun waffles, apple cider donut French toast, but they also serve lunch and dinner. The banana bread French toast was outstanding. Their drinks are really popular too. Great prices and specials too!! Awesome food and prices you have to try.”
