“I stayed here and because the spot was so small I had to park my truck in the over flow parking lot. Which was fine but the little old security guy when I pulled in after work one night was super rude and swung open my door super hard to the point I was gonna be super rude back, but I decided to be above that since I had a week left to stay here. I checked in late and checked in over the phone the next day. There was no packet waiting with directions and no parking pass waiting like at other rv resorts. When I called to pay I wasn’t told about a parking pass but the old security guard sure thought I should have known about it with his oversized head attitude. If a pass is required before you send out ranger rick please provide said pass.”

“We stayed one night and would definitely stay again. All members of the staff were wonderful. The gentleman, Rob, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful. The cafeteria is way more than a continental breakfast. The food is good and the coffee is hot. When they say "pet-friendly" that is exactly what they mean. Thanks to all at The Michigan Inn and Lodge.”

“The black haired front desk receptionist had a disgusting 🤮 attitude as soon as I walked in. I went in polite and respectful asking for a room and her responses were so monotone and disinterested. STAY AWAY from this place! The room was equally as bad. I only went because I needed a spot to work nearby and it was cheap that was the only good thing. The room is HORRIBLE! Small and cramped. Paper towel to cover the peep hole. The whole room smelled like mold/mildew. Stains on the walls. A/C blows hot air. I left early because it was that horrid. If you let them know their wifi is bad they accuse you of it not working. I asked to switched rooms and the rude front desk lady rushed me to switch to another one. Very poor customer service skills as well as severely lacking any accommodation and accountability. Yes I realize it’s just a motel but you should get respect ANYWHERE and everywhere. Especially when you’ve done nothing wrong I will never go there again and I suggest you find another motel with some standards.”

“I took a day trip down to Akron from Ottawa. The owner, Mike, was very kind. He answered all of our questions and was awesome! The rooms were super clean and modern looking. The beds were comfortable. The reception was awesome. The hot water was good. Lots of pressure. No bugs. No smells. Nothing out of the ordinary. Quiet place to rest my head after an evening out in Akron. Thank you Mike, for helping my friend and I out and making us feel at home.”
