“The black haired front desk receptionist had a disgusting 🤮 attitude as soon as I walked in. I went in polite and respectful asking for a room and her responses were so monotone and disinterested. STAY AWAY from this place! The room was equally as bad. I only went because I needed a spot to work nearby and it was cheap that was the only good thing. The room is HORRIBLE! Small and cramped. Paper towel to cover the peep hole. The whole room smelled like mold/mildew. Stains on the walls. A/C blows hot air. I left early because it was that horrid. If you let them know their wifi is bad they accuse you of it not working. I asked to switched rooms and the rude front desk lady rushed me to switch to another one. Very poor customer service skills as well as severely lacking any accommodation and accountability. Yes I realize it’s just a motel but you should get respect ANYWHERE and everywhere. Especially when you’ve done nothing wrong I will never go there again and I suggest you find another motel with some standards.”

“Above average for a 1-star motel...I chose this for the price and location since I lived in the area for years and owner has done a great job updating the property ..be aware of: every room has a smell. My room was that purple fabioso smell meaning it was clean. No tissues or shelves in the fridge. Table was too high for sitting in chairs to dine. I appreciated the clock in the room and the microwave and AC worked great. Tub didn't drain so after shower I had to kneel and hold stopper up for a while but water pressure was better than at home. It's an older property so walls are thin but I always travel with earplugs to avoid loud neighbors in rooms. Location is excellent! Gas, restaurants, a Wawa, a park and a liquor store all within walking distance. Mere miles from Ocean City and shopping and great for the not AC crowd.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER. THERE WAS ALMOST A FIRE DUE TO PROPERTY NEGLECT. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Our stay was completely unacceptable. Filthy rooms, mold, cold water, smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night, bugs, shower and sink drain completely clogged, ripped furniture from the 1990s. None of this was even the worst part. After making a complaint on Wednesday about the water, plugged drains, and smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night, nothing was done and no one followed up. Our last night, there was almost AN ELECTRICAL FIRE because of the properties NEGLECT. We were about to go to sleep when my partner thought he heard a noise. Went to find the source and found smoke POURING out of the water heater. Called the front desk right away, was told they'd "send someone" around 11pm. Luckily, we had access to the breaker, so we turned it off. We waited THIRTY PLUS MINUTES. If we didn't have access to the breaker there would have been a fire! If we'd gone to sleep earlier there would have been a fire! Their policy and untrained employees in an emergency situation is UNACCEPTABLE. The neglected and plugged up AC line caused the water to drip onto our water heater. We were VERY lucky we weren't hurt or even killed. Took over an hour to be reassigned to a new room. NO ONE from the property has contacted us after I requested. After I called, I was sent to the robot line instead of being directed to a person. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE. A manager needs to contact me immediately.”

It is not what we expected...Plastic cutlery and plates..not a big variety to choose from food...very poor quality. Even the coffee wasn't good. I believe they should really do something about that. It is a nice hotel with good prices. I suggest it to those who don't want to pay much but still have a good quality.”

“I can't believe how nice everyone is at this place. I went there with my wife and 2 special needs sons. They treated us as if we were friends from years ago. It didn't matter who we came across, they were all equally nice. My wife and one of the ladies that cleans there even exchanged numbers because they got along so well. The room was comfortable. We stayed for about one week and we will gladly go back if we need a place to stay. On Sunday we had their breakfast buffet and we really enjoyed it. My boys ate a ton and so did I. The people attending that area were just as nice as everyone else. I am 44 years old and have traveled to a few countries and never have I met such a great staff. The hotel is good...but the people working there make this place great!”

I had a reservation, and there was no warning, just a sign on the front of the door, with someone telling me I had to go to the holiday inn when I was tired from a long day of travel. Besides having small rooms, it wasn't too bad when I had stayed previously. But refusing service, and not alerting customers ahead of time is unforgivable. Do not try to stay here.”
