“This is the best pho place in the area. Me and my family frequently eat here, the pho is the best. The broth is tasty and all the ingredients are fresh. I also get rice dishes here and they are all good, grilled pork chop with egg is my go to. If you are in the mood for Vietnamese this is a must go to place, you won't regret it.”

“A hidden gem in downtown South Bend. Took my boys out for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We started with the Chicken Satay, Potstickers, and Pork Egg Rolls... all of which were very flavorful, cooked perfectly, and priced well. My youngest son especially loved the Potstickers. My older son couldn't stop talking about the Satay. The boys shared a chicken fried rice which came out in a timely manner and with good portion size. The boys said it was some of their favorite fried rice ever. I had the Red Curry (Level 5 Spice). It was very good! Good portion, great flavor, and spice level was just how I like it - HOT. The waitress was very friendly, very attentive, and even helped with suggestions and sizing. My only less than positive critiques are that it would be nice to have fountain drinks (with free refills) instead of bottled drink. But pricing was ok. And atmosphere was run down and tired. Paint coming off walls and cheap tables and decor... but frankly I'd take good food and service over fancy decorations any day... but an update to the place and fountain drinks would make this a 5 star place (and I suspect a LOT busier). “We went here to enjoy pho and some iced coffee. The food is average. We ordered the chicken sandwich (banh mi) and the combination pho. We have had better banh mi and pho. The banh mi was super dry. The pho was not as flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend going in there if food is your major concern. Service wise they’re terrible! Our server was rushing us even though it wasn’t as crowded and when we accidentally dropped our tea and asked for replacement, they were very rude! I understand if you don’t want to replace the tea but there is no reason for people to be rude, the same thing can be said politely. Overall, the food is average and terrible service. Not going in there again.”

“The food was prepared remarkably quickly, almost surprisingly so, but it was still delicious. The sauce on the potstickers was particularly noteworthy and became my favorite part of the meal. My order included the Potstickers and the Hot & Sweet Chicken. The restaurant itself is small but has a cozy vibe, making it a good spot for a lunch break or a casual dinner. While I dined in, I noticed a lot of people opting for takeout, which seems to be a popular choice here.”

“As a causal foodie, I had been hearing rave reviews about Pho 43 Express from my fellow epicurean friends. So today, I decided to take my parents along for a lunch to experience it firsthand. After a 45-minute wait(arrived around noon), which speaks volumes about its popularity, we were seated and promptly served the much-acclaimed pho. The dish arrived steaming hot at our booth, brimming with vibrant green onions that added not just color but an incredible depth of flavor. The freshness of the veggies was palpable on the palate and the chicken - oh the chicken - was cooked to absolute perfection! Adding to this delightful culinary experience was the staff's impressive familiarity with their customers and an ambiance enhanced by melodious tunes wafting through the restaurant.”

“Food was really delicious, even tho they are closing at 9pm they took our order at 8:28pm which is really appreciated. Food took only 5 minutes that was very quick. They have free parking in the front. Inside decorations is really amazing, stuff was very friendly. Excellent service, we were able to finish our food at 8:58pm. “This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. I only wish it was located closer to home. Either way it's worth the drive everytime. We always order the crab soup with asparagus. It is so tasty and comforting especially when I have a sore throat... The Chef's Special: egg tofu with trumpet mushrooms and Bok Choi is a must have if you like smooth and chewy texture in one dish. The flavors are light and well balanced. The Dungeness crab is something out of this world. It has a nice spicy bite I cannot get enough of. The Three Treasures: scallops, shrimp, squid and sauteed Chinese vegetables is a delight. This dish is not too salty, not too sweet and filled with fresh seafood. It is now my favorite entrée as well. The portions are so large that I have three meals out of one dish and they keep really well.”

“WOW what a great place to grab some grub. I took a pic of my shirt because the food was so good I got some juice on me and wanted to eat my shirt but people were watching. The staff is cute n courteous. The food presentation is excellent, great value for your $$$s. You can pick your own spice from a scale of 1 to 5. This is totally a cool spot to hang n eat. I'll be back and will be bringing people with me. I like the fact you can pay at the table and your card is not taken to the back out of sight.”
